Scrooge McSam 03-16-2005 02:06 PM

"Scrooge" was a nickname given to me by a roommate years ago. In a fit worthy of Scarlett's "I'll never eat a dirty root again" speech, I was declaring that I was tired of living hand to mouth and that things were gonna change around here. It was gonna be peanut butter and crackers until I could get this mess straightened out. Although he was supportive of my new direction, he couldn't help but call me Scrooge from then on out. He still does. :) It used to bother me a bit, but now that the finances are straight, I can laugh about it.

On the upside, you can always go for a swim in the money vault to cheer you up. :D

I thought that was from the Stephen King Dark Tower series? Or am I totally off here.

I love Scrooge :) I just replayed the NES version of the game "Duck Tales", with Scrooge bouncing around on his cane killing monsters while collecting treasures. Remember that game?

Baileykat -

Bailey is my son's name. Kat is my daughter's name...well actually her name is Kassidy...but I always wanted a daughter named Kat...but didn't want to name her Kat....nor did I want to name her Katherine or Kathy or Katy....so she's Kassidy - with a K!

And Kat is her nickname. But she's claimed as her own.

BelleH5-

Belle is my favorite Disney chracter.

The H was suppose to be a N- for Nicki, but I put H by mistake and I have kept it ever since I signed up on MP(my 1st board)

5- is my favorite number.

Prudence 03-16-2005 03:43 PM

I'm Prudence. Pronounced "Prudence." Many places I've switched to Ethelberga, because that's a fine Anglo-Saxon name that is always available as a log-in. But that's twice as many silly bulls.

And much of the time I won't notice if you've addressed me as Prudence or by my given name.

"Hey you" works, too.
