I was happy to see James go, too. For all his entertaining "southern-ness" he was certainly no "Big Tom" Buchanan. He constantly made promises that he couldn't deliver on "I will build the best bathroom - I will tie a knot that can't be untied - I know how to shoot", he was arrogant, and that "Allah saved you last time, my God says it's time for you to go" crap pushed it over the edge for me. Good riddance.

Heather and I are pulling for Steph at this point. She wound up being one of the strongest Survivor players in one of the worst tribes ever. I'm not sure if she'll last much past the merge, but it'll be fun to see how she plays it.

I was glad to see James go. I found it amusing how he was all over Ibraheim for blowing the milk bottle challange, but has blown three all by himself. He deserved to go. And mousepod, he is certainly no Big Tom.

We've been pulling for Steph as well. Very happy to see James go, too. Especially as he'd been so cocky at the last few TCs and then the comment on Allah and "my God" really pissed me off.

We sort of thought Steph screwed up at TC, voting against Bobby Jon and Ibrehim the first time. Ugh. What was she thinking? She owes James no alliance and he's not on the jury, so why do that, then apologize to him in front of the other two??? I hope she didn't just shoot herself in the foot. If I was Ibrehim or BJ, I wouldn't be very happy with that.....I hope she makes it to a merge.

And he almost lost that reward by going 0-fer. Even Ibrahim hit one. And Steph was their only real asset. Angie was their other quality challenge player, but they got rid of her.

Yeah, I think Steph may have blown it. Bummer, she's got real potential.

Who'd have thought that such a lopsided show could be so entertaining? I'm totally glued to it this season. I guess rooting for the "good guys" and having them win all the time feels good.

Tonight at 8.

Tom totally rocks. He killed a freakin' shark.

Oh and Ulong totally blows. A new Survivor record - a tribe that never won an immunity challenge.

Mousey Girl 03-31-2005 10:35 PM

I am glad that Steph survived. I really thought she was history tonight.

mousepod 03-31-2005 10:41 PM

I was resigned to see Steph go. I'm happy that she didn't get voted out.
Let's see how far she survives after the merge...

Personally, I think they are both going to picked off rather quickly once the merge takes place. The other team isn't even going to think twice. Then the game gets more interesting as you have a group of people that have been able to bond pretty securely over the past weeks, finally have to start making tough decisions.

I still think Tom is a strong contender although he is obviously going to be perceived as a huge threat after the merge. I do wonder how many individual immunity challenges he could potentially win in a row, especially where strength is a factor. The guy is a stud.
