Seriously great idea.

One of my favorite childhood books is The Monster at the End of this Book. I don't think it's a Little Golden Book. I should go dig up my Little Golden Books though.

That's a classic! and, yes, it was once published in the Golden Books format. It's currently available in a softback format.

I used to read this out loud in my best Grover voice over and over, to the delight of my family, I'm sure.

I have a huge collection of them. I wanted to make sure Zach was able to read them too!

My daughter loved all books. My older son loved the Richard Scary books. My younger son loved all books but loved 'Frog and Toad'.

Books are my passion. Childrens' books. I think that idea about the baby shower is brilliant!!!

A favorite with them all, 'Miss Suzy'.

I have a boxful somewhere. My mother used to buy one just about every week for my sister and me. I pulled them all out when my son was little and he was quite underwhelmed. (Newer picture books were just fine.) But that means my books didn't get any more worn out than when I read them. I'll have to dig them out and see what I've got.
