What, you guys were there for five minutes? And all of five feet away?

Hehe. Now I'm :blush: because Greg and I were making cutesy baby talk at the baby ducks and you probably heard and saw all of it. ;)

It took me ages to feel completely comfortable around the group. I understand about shyness, used to battle it myself, so no offence taken or anything....but seriously babe, all you have to do is say "hi" and I'll do the rest of the talking. :D

I think people may be afraid to say hi because they think they'll be busting in on a "date" we're having, or that we'll feel obligated to hang out with them and they don't want to be a bother....don't even worry about that. We will always say bye if we want to. No issues with doing our own thing, not anymore. :)

So no worries....say hi. Not that you have to. :)

It's a good thing nobody's met me yet...

MouseWife 03-23-2005 12:03 AM

Well I met you, Bornieo. {thank goodness we don't have to spell everyones name when we meet them...but anywho...}

I met you and I found you to seem a bit reserved but still very nice, very generous. You offered me some of you pizza when I was drooling over it. Anyone spend more time with me and you'll come to know I drool over food, and a few other delectables in life. ;)

But back to you, Bornieo.

I thought you were nice{offering me the pizza, you could have said 'It's right here on the menu now leave me the hell alone!}, polite{you made conversation}, gentlemanly{nothing off color or rude, at least nothing I heard :D }, and I liked that. :) :snap: :snap:

Me? I don't know. Don't get out much. I think I am a dork. But it seems a lot of us think that about ourselves, don't we? :D

I might be cool. Some kids at school tell me 'Peace' while others look at me and seem a bit worried...I am sure the teacher is sick of me. That means I bug or frighten them. That means I do my job. :evil:

Oh, and I think I'm particularly quiet when meeting someone from this crowd for the first time. Why? Well, in the usual Disneyland meet situation, there's a tendency for me to go on and on about Disney, naturally, because it's just the easy topic of conversation. And while I know we're all in the same boat and we all understand, I just don't relish the thought of someone's first impression of me being hours on end of blathering about Disney. So my simple solution is to shut the hell up.

MouseWife 03-23-2005 12:19 AM

GD~ I so understand that. I mean, I've met people from my music board and I try so hard not to gush about it. Or, even if I am talking to someone and I find they have the similar interest I force myself to shut up and just nod along. That is so hard to do! Especially when it is something I am passionate about.

Oh, by the way, I've never found anyone I've met on here {not that I've met a lot} to be annoying. I LOVE to hear all things Disney and since I rarely get to meets, I love any tidbits you guys throw my way.
