I know I have been in the shadows for a long time, but as an artist and writer (among other things), I've been kept so busy on other sites, and so I sort of relied upon John to keep me informed about LOT.

I've met so many WONDERFUL friends since he introduced me and I guess it wasn't until this damn H8 cropped up that I realized just how important you all are!

SOoooo...as an artist and writer I felt COMPELLED to do something....to express myself, my feelings and emotions. And as usual, when I finally do, the stuff just comes POURING out!

As you get to know me better, I think you'll find that I'm not a prejudice person (well, maybe a little against stupidity) and I certainly don't mean to be pitting gays against straights; but growing up gay in the South (as in SC, the first state to seceed from the Union, remember?) I moved out here to CA to get away from Intolerance, Prejudice and Discrimination.

Trust me! I KNOW how it works! I spent all of my life in the thick of it, in the most insidious kind. So, please forgive me if I seem to sound like I'm getting pissed at you personally. I'm not. I'm just trying to channel my anger at those things which should not be tolerated. Right now I feel like an exposed nerve and even my Adiemus soundtrack doesn't seem to be soothing, but then again, maybe right now is not the time to be tuned out.

Thanks again for the opportunity to express myself and I hope soon I can calm down and have MORE FUN with you guys!
