I've had a lot of trouble trying to convert or otherwise use .m4v's from iTunes before. In the end, the only way I was able to do it was through screen capture software. I used Snapz ProX, but there might be better as I didn't research it exhaustively. And I think Snapz might only be available for Mac.

What exactly is the movie you're trying to convert? Perhaps there's another version available...

Ok, I'm trying again now that my computer is "authorized" by iTunes.
There's a codec that they add to their files. I'm trying to find a way around that codec. And, it's a bitch. But, keep your fingers crossed! |
