Oh how I feel ya, sister. I had my realization of the same and it was, at best, unpleasant for me.

My clothes are an eclectic mess of a mix, but I do have some really tailored stuff which has held up well. I just don't wear it very often.

Here's the good news ...
 

I am old enough to:
- know what I want
- have the freedom to go after it
- rely on the experience of 51 years of living to make better choices.

Since having young body to do all this in isn't an option, I'll just continue aging to perfection.

My first thought seeing the polka dot dress was "Strawberry Chips"

A puffer nylon blazer with horizontal quilting. Isaac Mizrahi, are you bleeping kidding me?

Combined with the turtleneck I believe the intent is to make your head a visual surprise.

It is a sartorial recreation of those floating head Blue Shield commercials (which are probably regional).

The look that says, "I'll have the big salad. Extra ranch. Oh my god, my boyfriend is such a jerk."

Yeeeeeesh that jacket will add more pounds than a camera.

It looks like it was made from the sound dampening pads in my computer.
