Disneyland AND Disney's California Adventure, plus Downtown Disney and the hotels offer so many options for people of different interest.

It's very common for groups/families to start the day together, then split up by the afternoon based on what they want to do: thrill seekers (Tower of Terror, California Screamin', Space Mountain, Big Thunder Mountain Railroad) vs. child-friendly attractions vs. easy-going indoor attractions (Animation Building, Enchanted Tiki Room, Aladdin - A Musical Spectacular), etc.

So, you can still go to Disneyland and then head off for separate, legitimate reasons. And if a lot of LoTers show up, then we could drag you away, too!
