There was even an audience for the balcony fun.

It just needed some bacon.

And just in case you should leave earlier than everybody else.

oh, i won't even begin to pay my check until Kevy leaves the building.

I don't know if I will be social but it would be a good opportunity for everyone to gather, watch some (edited) magic in the sky and appreciate that we got to breath alittle that day. Plus it won't cost anything.

I hope to see you there.

Where is "the usual spot on Main Street for fireworks at 9pm"? I will be working that evening, so it's uncertain whether I'll make it there in time for either dinner at Jazz Kitchen or fireworks. But just in case, where is the fireworks meeting spot? Thanks!

I'm guessing it's on Main Street by Coke's Corner, not sure, but I've met LoT people there in the past for fireworks.

innerSpaceman 04-29-2009 02:21 PM

However, the usual spot for fireworks when the LoT is having dinner at the Jazz Kitchen starting any time after 5 pm .... is on the 2nd floor Jazz Kitchen balcony.

So, I tried to help by suggesting meeting for fireworks as a way to regroup everyone after the drama of the other treads only to be punched in the face.

No need to meet for fireworks. No worries.

Mark, get a grip.

It's been my unfortunate experience that it's nearly impossible to make it into the Park for fireworks after a big group dinner in Downtown Disney.

We've done this time and time again. Sometimes we can make it by running at full speed. Most times we've barely been done with the meal when we hear the "booms" outside.

No one is trying to rain on your idea. Experience proves it to be unworkable. It's a great idea. I'd personally love it if fireworks and a group dinner could be accomplished with more regularity. I just wanted to caution that it rarely turns out that way.

"Getting a grip" implys that I spoke out of line, which if you would read the thread, you would have understood what I said. I made the suggestion only when others were not willing to go to dinner. When others asked about the fireworks you replyed...

No, getting a grip means "don't over-react." When something can have several meanings, you make an ass of you and me when you "assume."

Anyway, I know you're going through a rough patch, but please don't jumpt to the wrong conclusions. The reason I posed for fireworks not being probable had everything to do with commonly-experienced Resort time management, and nothing to do with thinking your idea unworthy.

AS I EXPLAINED.
