Why don't they just build a second exclusive club and roll it into the C33 membership benefits. They could even use it as reason to up the price of membership. But, sell a whole different product is ridiculous. "I'm not a C33 member, I had to take the short bus to Carthay Circle."

Probably because then there'd be too much demand for Club 33 space.

How to make a second club successful? Make it a prerequisite for getting a Club 33 slot. Change new membership process so a new opening is offered to Carthay Club members in order of seniority.

Then to fill out Carthay Club go down existing Club 33 waiting list and say "join Carthay now and eventually get Club 33 or you're off the list."

Thanks a LOT.

The same corporate jokers who came up with the "Carthay Circle Club" in the first place have the attitude "If we slap the name 'Disney' on it, the rubes will eat it up" -- you know, the same attitude that built DCA in the first place -- and it would never occur to them that the rubes wouldn't eat up the latest groupthink stupidity that they cobbled up to fill an unused space at the N*E*W I*M*P*R*O*V*E*D D*C*A, now with Disney characters.

This threat would motivate people to actually join this BS space filler.

I have a club I belong to already. I can drive to it in 15 minutes and I dont have to elbow my way past mobs of tourists to get in.

Some also-ran "club" at DCA I don't need.
