I'll be there at 1PM to meet up with you Morrigoon even if nobody else can make it that early.

I may be there for the fireworks, but 7:00 is about the best I can do. I still haven't seen them yet, the last two efforts fizzled, so we'll see how this one goes.

We're, of course, there all day. What would an evening DTD look like? What time?
|
This is all getting very confusing.
I can't speak for too many people, but a usual dinner in DTD wouldn't work for me on the 17th, unless it was earlyish. Fortunately (or not), the complete DragonFailure of Summer Failtastic means I won't be camping out on the Rivers of America ... but I've yet to see the new fireworks show, so I'll want to be in the Park for that ... and in general, to experience the unique magic that sets Disneyland Birthday apart, 9 years out of 10, you have to be IN Disneyland. So ... in one thread there's talk of a more DTD-DLH-centric day on Saturday, the 18th ... but in another thread, the same people are discussing a Queen Mary / Casa de Cone-Meinke Cocktail Party for Saturday the 18th.   |
The Queen Mary/Cocktail Party has ow usurped a day in DL on the 18th. Now, if you want to go to DL on the 18th there's no reason why you can't and just go to the cocktail party in the evening. We are all free to do what we want. But, out of town guests get to make the plans, there there you have it.

I wasn't really suggesting a dinner meet. On a crowded day like the 17th, a beverage meet is far more practical/relaxing/possible.
