I wonder if Roy has any special events planned that day?

This link is about another theme park celebrating an anniversary this year. Granted, Dollywood is only turning 20, they decided to kick off their year with a special surprise. The 1600 people gathered for a preview show of the Moscow Circus, will each receive "Platinum Passes" - free admission and free parking to Dollywood and it's neighboring waterpark, for the next 20 years. The people who received these passes were just visitors to the park, appreciating the park, and appreciated BY the park.

Read it and weep.

Literally.

But, um, what did we expect?

Oh, I know what we hoped for, but what did we expect?

Where's the "Walt spinning in his grave so fast he generates electricity to light up the castle" package?

I admit, I expected more than this load of "horse shyt". I also know that expectations lead to resentments and, yes, I am resenting Disneyland Event Services right now.

July 15 - I'm still planning on wearing a spacesuit and refractive lenses to go ride Space Mountain

I was hoping it would be something unlike this, but I knew better. Think there is any chance they will do anything else- anything????
