Lord help me, I've just applied for grad school.

BarTopDancer 04-28-2011 04:18 PM

WOOHOO!

Ghoulish Delight 04-28-2011 04:29 PM

It's an entirely online program through CSUF that lasts 2 years. It seems like a relatively doable pace, their estimates are 12-15 hours of effort each week, I can certainly handle a couple hours a day.

ooooh, I so wanna see the Cheeseman in 1776. Please, please, please, please.

As for the Android phone, um, no my tech-deficient boyfriend doesn't have a song recognition app, and he's never been on facebook. Doesn't run it from his phone or anywhere. It's really odd. Plus, just checked, that photo is not on my facebook. Really odd stuff.

I'm scared.

Well, I gave the best audition I could, but they didn't ask me to sing. I heard other people singing, so...

If they don't cast me, it will be interesting to see the show just to know who they think is better. And they're idiots.

Down 9.5 pounds, btw.

Yes, that would mean they are idiots. :(

I really enjoyed my online experience and felt it meshed really well with being able to work and take care of other things. The only challenge was group projects. Between different work schedules, personal commitments and time zones (since I was usually working with people on east coast time) it was hard to schedule but we worked it out.

Good luck!

I just booked a flight on United for flying out of John Wayne into Des Moines on May 8 (returning on the 10th). Since I will need to make the same trip two weeks later, I looked ahead at that one (exact same flights) and the fare jumps from $396 to $703. WTF?!?

That is through the United site. There are plenty of seats available. I looked on Expedia and Cheap Tickets and the flights don't even show up there.

There are other flight options where I can bring the cost down, but it is weird that the exact same itinerary goes up by 78%

Cynthia 04-29-2011 11:25 AM

Kevy, perhaps it is because of Memorial day?

Alex 04-29-2011 11:26 AM

Don't know if it has an impact, but two weeks later your getting into the shadow of Memorial Day travel, schools (university) are ending for summer, etc.

Plus United just announced a price hike due to rising fuels costs (though don't know what that's impacting).
