What's it like with menopause and puberty in the same household, WB?

(did I just write that? Uh-oh)

Menopause has not struck yet, Scaeagles, which is quite fortunate for you. Remember, I have a stalker friend who knows a good deal about you.....

Oh scaeagles.... I fear the worst is yet to come. With a 7.9 year old boy, and his newly 12 year old female cousin who I have in my home quite a bit.

Due to her newly aquired set of overdone female hormones, in one given day she's thought:
that playing gameboy/gamecube with an eight year old was fine. They can take turns.

To the end of the world to share with him, and her life is miserable. No one appreciates her to give her anything.

Biting people to the point of tearing their clothes in her anger.

And asking me how to pick up boys.

Begging me to convince her mother to let her be goth, and listen to music with warning labels.

I dont think I could do it full time.
Good luck.

Mine's 10 - I'm already doomed. I already "don't understand" and "never listen". Followed by the ever popular "why do you care so much what other people think" when she attempts to leave the house looking like a streetwalker.

At Ten my niece leaned across the Boll Weevil table and says to me "Auntie, I have christmas socks on, and its not Christmas time"

So?

"That boy over there is cute. Should I worry about it? What should I do? I might like him. "

<blink> Aunite says, a) I didnt hear that. b) socks dont matter. c) Boll Weevil is not where to go to pick up boys. d) ask your mother!

Luckily for him, stalker friend is no where near monopause yet, but when it gets close, watch out.

All I can say is, I'm with you my brother. I thought by raising one from scratch I might learn something about the ways of women. Vast is the cavern of my ignorance.
