Very, very cool. Are they stable enough after a few Mac's Blackwatch cream porter? Should they be bolted down after say, 5 porters?

So... so so sooo much change in only a few days.

In the past 9 days, Mom's sold her house in AR and signed a contract on one here. I must say I'm impressed. Wheeled and dealed like a pro, she did. So much has changed for her in the space of twenty years.

This will be the first time in 28 years that all the surviving members of my family will share the same zip code. I feel oddly serene. Like maybe I should be apprehensive about this, but I'm not. It's gonna be nice having her around.

Oh well, I guess my construction plans can be put away.

So, there's a reason I don't go into bookstores....picked up the next LoT book club book, TWO books of sock patterns, and a Julie London compilation CD. *sigh* And then stopped by to see what my personal shopper (AKA mom) picked out for me - of course I like the most expensive purse, and all but one of the tops. So much for staying on budget...

I just spent all day at a beach party. We made a huge fire and now I smell like it. I need to take a shower but my couch is mighty comfy.

I wish I had my camera. It was a wonderful day for photos.

so...I got up this afternoon to find people in my house. No biggy. I then went out back for a ciggy and PoOf there was another dog in my yard. We now have a pit-mix puppy. He is about 6-9 months old. He belonged to Dawn and her kids, but the kids stopped taking care of him and her youngest has been really, really mean to him, to the point of abuse. David said to bring him over. I just wish I had been consulted. He is doing pretty good. I just have to remember not to leave the door into the house or the door into the garage open. With Pooh we can do both, and he won't try to get in the house or the garage, but Sox is still in his curious puppy stage.

We did NOT need another dog.

You had zero input on whether you have a pitbull mix in your household?

If anyone tried to pull that crap on me I'd kick some serious ass.

Awwwww! I just got home from walking my pittbull mix Cassidy. She's the SWEETEST dog. I've sat more than a few pittbulls and they've all been really great dogs. I think yours will probably take a bit of trainng and reassurance, but he's probably young enough to learn well.

I want pics!

Congratulations! If there's anyone who continues to spread the Disney magic in Walt's spirit, it's you! :)
