Yay for repotting stressed plants and working on the garage! I didn't find my corset pattern yet, or the pattern for the cross-stitch I had been working on pre-move, but I did find my two missing (and most favorite) piano books, my box of all patterns *except* the one I was looking for, and Rat's metal toolbox, which did contain the tool he needed to replace what turned out to be a broken sparkplug, which should hopefully restore his car to functional status.

Now I shall work on finishing my crotchless drawers.

Wow, Pru, I need some of that cleaning/organizing energy here!

Why do these two posts work together?

I worked a little, played a little and didn't do anything arty or craft at all this weekend. So much for balance.

Watching Planet Earth on Animal Planet HD. First time I've seen it in HD (last time it was broadcast we didn't have the HD and I'm too cheap to buy the set).

Lovely, just lovely.

They're doing a bit right now on the ocean, and all I can say is Sail Fish are gorgeous. I'd be terrified if I was their prey (or hell, in the water with them at all) but on my nice safe television set all I can say is it's like watching art swim.

Drove by the drive in in Riverside on my way home from a party on Sunday early evening just as the sun was going down. Man that place was packed.

3 screens - double feature in each.

Angels and Demons with Star Trek - I would have loved to gone... except for the part about having to sit in the car for that long.

Guess I like the idea of the drive in more then actually going.

Still - I have such fond memories of going when I was a teenager.

Highly recommend the new Cirque du Soleil show, Ovo. Saw it over the weekend in Montreal and had a great time.

Tell me more Steph!

Target often offers a gift card with a purchase of a Dyson. Also check Costco.
