Don't know if it has an impact, but two weeks later your getting into the shadow of Memorial Day travel, schools (university) are ending for summer, etc.

It is the weekend before Memorial Day; I thought that wouldn't impact it, but I may be wrong.

You might be SOL but try Kayak.com as well.

I don't know if there are different times but Bing's travel search is showing $331 for SNA to DSM on the 22nd and return the 24th on United (through O'Hare outbound and Denver coming back). And the result it is returning for that is through CheapTickets.

It's a very strange feeling to be perusing my college transcript a decade after graduating.

I wish I could shove it deep into my brain in such away that it automatically appears in my mind's eye any time that damned dream starts. You know the one. "Oh fvck, it's the last day of school and I completely flaked on that one class! I don't even know where the room is so I can go beg the teacher to give me a D instead of an F so I can graduate! Fvck fvck fvck, I do this every time!"

If I leave at 8 in the morning, I can get cheaper flights. But this is a company paid trip. While I don't like to waste money, I am going to fly at a reasonable hour since I am already giving up my Sunday.

By flying out through Chicago (which I normally try to avoid), departing around 2:00 and returning through Denver, departing around 4:00 gets me down to $461 + tax

Coworker talks tonight that she wants to breed her dog but she can't breed him with another of his breed, because the breeders are really close, and the one she got him from will find out.

Ok, so you know you're doing something wrong.

And apparently the topic of having puppies "just because" sets me *off*. Need to keep that in check. Or at least to a point where I can argue rationally.

I would be more than happy to go off on her.

I have a couple of times. Surprised myself. On the one hand, I do feel strongly about the issue. On the other hand, I don't want to be a nasty person, and I'm not likely to get through to her anyway. She just doesn't see that the actions of an individual matter.

Like I say, I need to keep it to a point where I can argue the subject in some sort of rational manner. That has the best chance of succeeding, if anything possibly can. And I'm really not there.

So, tonight's attempt to de-possum a friend's fridge was unsuccessful. I suspect she'll be calling an appliance repairman soon, since we couldn't get the back panel off to retrieve it.

Note to pet owners - lock your doggy doors at night. ;)
