Lounge of Tomorrow

So... I got as far as the 7th & Metro station - connection to the Blue Line and no trains were running. Through the barely audible speakers I discerned that there was an accident and there would be a delay. Not wanting to be stuck underground with a bunch of sweaty commuters, so I'm now on the roof of the Standard having a sidecar - when life gives you lemons, have yourself a refreshing cocktail.

It's somehow comforting to know that whenever there's a commuter train accident somewhere in LA, there are good odds that € is having a cocktail.

Sadly, the part of town I was in last time gave me the choice between live poultry and a creepy strip club.

Hey, there was no accident, but a couple of incidents during my trip to Disneyland were taken care of with a nice Louisiana Lemonade :)
