My grandmother passed tonight. Or maybe it's tomorrow - not sure on the time because it was east coast. That sounds funny to say. Got the call while I was out looking for Boris. She's a cat lover - maybe she'll send him home to me.

Anyhow, her pain is over now.

We were woken up last night by the loudest clap of thunder I've ever heard. CP had it right when she said it sounded like a bomb going off. Must have been right on top of us.
