Ok, what I meant was "the morphing of photography from various angles together in order to simulate video." Black or White was filmed with a video camera from a stable point of view. Both the Matrix and the Stones video used still cameras placed in different locations in the room, then did use morphing to "interpolate frames" as you call it, enabling them to "freeze time" as they spiraled around their subjects.

Army of Me usually gets credited for that type of photo morphing, which is slightly different from bullet time.
