As opposed to every other cell phone provider who has picture-perfect customer service.

ETA: And, to add anecdotal counter-evidence, I called Sprint the other day with a dispute on my bill and they fixed it in a matter of moments without a bit of argument.

I am glad to hear it. Anybody else got good things to say about Sprint's customer service?

I don't have to deal with them? ;)

I've never had a problem at all with Sprint or their customer service. I don't like their stores but I don't like ANY stores and so any other carrier would be the same there.

AT&T was horrible when we had that.

My boyfriend has Sprint and seems reasonably happy. I just wish he had cell service inside the house. But I can't talk him into going Verizon with me, so I guess Sprint has done well enough by him.

I dealt with Sprint customer service over a period of about 8 months (I actually believed them when they said they would fix something so that extended the whole process). I was on hold for about an hour with them the first time but months later I didn't have to wait on hold at all. But their ability to fix a problem did not improve with their ability to answer the phone.

I'm with GD on this one: all cell providers will have their detractors and their fans. I am sure one could find people who have had problems with any one of them and those who have had good success.

Not to take away from the bad experiences discussed above - those are all legit. I just believe the grass is not greener anywhere else.

No, it probably isn't any greener anywhere else. After all, I had 11 years of what I would have called awesome service with them.
