I recommend Zazu. Good food, a roadhouse feel and a pleasant 25-30 mile drive. From where I live, anyway.

Sounds good, a little further drive for me, but eqaully pleasant. Hmmmm, I smell a road trip as soon as the rain lets up.

In SF, speaking of pancetta, I need to go to Molinari's for a supply of this delightful, Italian treat. American smoked bacon it's not, but serve me a dish of pasta, with pancetta, garlic, cream and fresh peas and I am one happy girl. Sigh, not this month......
