Thanks for all of the info and making me feel welcome to jump on at this late date!! I am waiting for an e from the Hubster if his schedule can fit this in, he is in a camping mode...is it his visits to REI or what? LOL He used to do this all of the time before we met....

Bedding!! Thanks for that reminder!!! :snap:

Great idea about cleaning the mattress prior, would eliminate that fear!!

Are any kids coming? I doubt if my son would come, but, I will offer it up to him.

Well, I am off to a internet free zone~work. I'll come back after and hopefully know.

This is really exciting because we have never been to Kings Canyon. :snap:

I don't know if we ever officially declared it, but I know that last year's Camp Swank was adults only (as in that is how it ended up, not a beforehand declaration). Based on some of the proclivities (not just the appearance of the mythical BBD [which will NOT be happening this year]), it might be safer to keep it that way.

Personally, I wouldn't object to kiddies being around, but I will defer to others' opinions.

I suspect there will probably be some who are currently planning on going who will drop out (no one in particular: just the law of averages).

If I can't find a camping buddy replacement for Gemini Cricket, I will likely be dropping out.

Maybe the RAC would be interested.

I was thinking of responding in a similar fashion.

I mean, I'm no one to forbid it as it was never officially declared adults only, but I'm not sure what you'd want to expose your child to. The martinis are only the beginning

But the RAC was what, 17? 18? I guess it depends on what you think your kid can handle and what you want him to handle.

Damn. And I was going to make sure I had my camera handy too. ;)

Im sure there are no guarentees, for or against. :p

I would recommend keeping the camera at the ready. might consider something with a wide angle lens though.

She was 18 and very much (some might say too much) getting in touch with her"adult" side.

Did you know she is pierced "downstairs"?

Or in my case, a close-up lens.
