Heheh, it was a few years ago, but there were a bunch of gorgeous boys (and girls) at a party I was at, and I was ogling them all day ... um, and then I found out they were the grown children of friends, kids I hadn't seen since little kidhood. Yep, felt creepy dirty.

But not enough to stop ogling.

I am rocking and rolling today. Doing some much needed housework - already tossed a ton of paper crap, and cleaned and organized underneath the kitchen sink. After lunch, I'm dusting the living room, dining room, and bedroom. Also scored two more web design projects, in addition to now adding in layout and optimization duties to my current ones (for more pay, of course).

And, I need the housework to be done by 5'ish so I can shower since we're going out with some friends tonight. I'm thinking I still might need a small miracle to finish it all. Can someone please send Mary Poppins over?

I hate my job. My job is unsatisfying. It will never be satisfying, because the federal GS system is designed specifically to make sure that no one with an ounce of intelligence ever makes it up the chain. I need to be practicing law. I will get off my butt and apply for clerkships again because hey, maybe they'll be confused and think that being a PMF was something impressive. I will apply for the AG's honors program once the application system is online the end of July. And if neither of those pie-in-the-sky routes works out, I will start the full-court press on other options. Because, Bob damn it, I am fvcking brilliant. And I deserve a job where I get to think.
