We just saw 'Monster House' today, and it was quite a bit better than I imagined it would be. I am not hugely fond of the animation but the story was decent and there were a few humorous parts- I thought it was superior to 'Over the Hedge'.

I really am looking forward to 'Happy Feet'. I just love the previews for it.

I liked Monster house also. Lots of character development for an animated movie, and good plotline. I liked the animation better than the plastic flat uninteresting animation of Hoodwinked!..... I realy wanted Hood to be as good as Shrek, but it fell flat in my opinion.

The animation fell a bit short for me too, but overall it wasn't bad. Now Nickolas is bugging me to see The Ant Bully.

On a side note, I just took off Sox's collar. He smells lemony fresh. I also had to refill it, so I am thinking it is working.

I had a relaxing weekend. We drove up to Portland, ME and chilled. We went antique shopping and ate a lot of lobster. I've decided that eating lobster in a lobster roll is the way to go. If you ever go to Maine, eat at Red's Eats. They have the bestest lobster rolls.
Frodo had a good time, too. He met a Corgi that was his exact twin at a MA rest stop. Amazing. "Corgis, identical Corgis..."
:)

I can't decide if I hate you, or if I just think you have a lovely life.

lol! :D
We're not that love dovey. He's kinda part Vulcan in public. I really needed to get away this weekend. I was feeling burned out.
Would it make you feel any better to know that we waited in 90 degree weather for an hour for our lobster rolls? :D

Yes!

(ashamed)

Maine is great. I don't know if I'll get there this year. Perhaps over Labor Day weekend...

So, I'm in technical hell again. My phone battery is not holding a charge, my mouse is unresponsive, I think I'm supposed to be cleaning house or something instead. ACK!

Oh yeah, sca-what'shisname will love this. We drove by the Bush Compound in Kennebunkport. It's pretty amazing. Bush Sr. was home at the time, too. Lots of black vans. Frodo took a poop at the beach next to their house. (Yes, we picked it up.)
