Backstage? Any good?

Morrigoon 04-05-2009 11:44 AM

West side, and it was delicious, actually. It was the truck with the two ladies. Oh, but beware their salsa! Lemme put it this way: I was dripping Tapatio on my burrito, but that salsa was too much for me.

Thanks for the warning...I usually ask for Salsa Verde from trucks, but have never tried the backstage ones...will look for the two ladies.

They had green taco sauce (or maybe it was salsa), but I grabbed the red. Consider yourself warned :)

There seem to be 3 regular trucks, the two ladies, a mixed pair, and a truck with two men I think. People have their opinions of each. I haven't trucked it enough to form an opinion either way, but I have heard people say they like the 2 ladies truck before. Although I've never heard a bad thing about any of the trucks, they're generally considered to be good from what I understand.

Tonight was super nachos with carnitas, semi homemade beans, homemade corn salsa and guacamole.

Unhealthy and darn tasty.

Grilled pork tenderloin with grilled peppers and red potatoes.

A perfectly lovely chicken quesadilla, with grilled peppers and onions, side of ranch.
