Maybe they'll put him in the Ferris wheel so more people can see him at a time.

Cripes, just what we need, Graceland West, complete with shrine.

I hope it has plenty of comfortable seating for all those waiting for the resurection.

It's on Friday. I'm actually very tempted to go. (I'd still be back in time for dinner and show.)

Care to make a friendly wager on that timetable?

Well, I am known for being overly optimistic.

Although, it could possibly happen if I head up there at the asscrack of dawn. But, that would also depend on if people camp out the night before.

And, there are plenty enough MJ fans who would probably do that sort of thing.

So, consider me toying with the idea for now... until the details come out which will help with my final decision. ;)

If the family decides to bury him there ala "Graceland" style, I'll wait and go another time to pay my respects.

DP - you need to find someone with a helicopter. ;)

In a desperate attempt to avoid doing actual work, I pulled up Google Earth and had a look at Neverland Ranch:

A two lane road to/from the ranch, a narrow single lane driveway onto/off the property with no way to make a loop. Honestly I don't see how they think they can logistically pull this off. Perhaps they will close the road entirely and run buses?

That's weird... I thought I heard someone else owned the property now. Guess I heard wrong.

That's what they did back in 1999 (could have been 2000) for a public charity dinner event that was $700 per ticket. I was going to attend, but the company I worked for just shut down, so I didn't have the funds. Anyway, they had designated parking areas, all the way down to Ventura, and then shuttled everyone via buses to/from the ranch.

A company that he partially owns technically owns the ranch. It was purchased that way to prevent him from losing it during his financial downfall.
