Thank god we had the digital and got a few pics with it.

Damn

Well, there's only one thing to do. We'll have to do it all over again. Y'all are gonna have to get me some dates. End of the fiscal year is coming up.

:)

If you got a female Porgi, you could name her Bess.

So, as I was listening to the radio today, the typical, "This is a test of the Emergency Broadcast System" message came on.

Then nothing. Just dead air for a couple of moments until the DJ covered.

Should I be worried?

sooo.... I step out of the house to walk the dogs a few minutes ago. Just as I hit the bottom of the stairs, Heather flings the front door open.
"Jesse!" (she had to shout - I had my iPod on) "We just had an earthquake! Everything in the room shook!"
After the dogs did their "business", I came home and Heather had checked the internet. Sure enough a 4.4 (ish - too early to tell) just happened nearby.
I always seem to miss the fun ones.

But you were right there--how did you manage to "miss" it?

So we thought we had the world's ugliest vinyl flooring in our powder room, which we discovered once SOMEone (BT) overflowed the toilet, necessitating the removal of the carpet the old bat had put in there.

Turns out we have the world's second ugliest vinyl flooring in the powder room. The ugliest is in the kitchen, which BT just uncovered because I was sick of the stupid nasty carpet and the bathroom carpet removal was fairly painless.

The kitchen vinyl is possibly the ugliest vinyl I have ever seen in my life. I should take commemorative photos before we make improvements.

I was walking down the stairs, so I had no point of reference for the minor bounciness.

Matterhorn Fan 08-02-2006 08:34 PM

Prudence: You MUST take photos. But I'm not sure it can be worse that the stuff that was in my parents' house until recently.
