This video of kittens on a slide is almost unendurably cute. If I thought my two cats could or would do this, I would go buy a kids slide tomorrow.

One of the joys of my job is seeing things a lot of people don't get to. Monday the zoo was closed due to snow and ice on the paths. Even if we're open, not that many people come in this weather. They miss seeing animals in the snow!

These are the new girls in town - Cheyenne and Yahzi just went on exhibit last week:

Cheyenne:

Yahzi:

Oh, and Mikail and Nicole...

Totally worth braving the cold!

Cute puppies and kitties! Thanks for the pix!

Cool photos. That one of the wolves (?) together looks almost posed the way their bodies form a swirl together.

Are tigers ever in the wild where there is snow? Must be an interesting experience for all the animals.

I love when you post the animals from the zoo. :) Beautiful!

I love going to the Zoo when it snows, it's like a rainy day at Disneyland! :D

would anyone object if I loaded some of these pics onto my LoLcat profile and captioned them?

I would of course give credit :)

Siberian tigers are well acquainted with snow. I'm not sure what subspecies those in the photo are.
