The image is funny on its own, but it's a fair bet that the text on the car is photoshopped.

There are even llamas inside the car which I can't decide is more or less funny than strapped to the luggage rack.

I didn't even notice the ones inside! :) :)

If so, they did a damn good job with blending the car dings/dents and all. :)

Ghoulish Delight 05-05-2009 10:28 AM

My first evidence that the text is fake is the question, "What is the likelihood that they would advertise that to English speakers?"

Disneyphile 05-05-2009 10:36 AM

Good point! Now I'm tempted to call the number.

Ghoulish Delight 05-05-2009 10:46 AM

083 appears to be a cell phone network code in South Africa that can only be called from within South Africa.

ETA: but if you want to try, +27 is South Africa's country code.

Disneyphile 05-05-2009 10:53 AM

Ah... if it's South Africa, it very well could be English then.

Now, I just have to decide whether or not to call - they might capture my number and want to use it for "bank transfers" or something.

GD, with a bit of research, you are correct, sir:

It's an excellent job though! :) Probably inserted the text between two layers of the original, and set the top transparency to blend.

They don't have llamas in South Africa.

CoasterMatt 05-05-2009 11:15 AM

Hence the need for Dial A Llama!
