I just drank a diet Coke - the first one I've had in MONTHS and now I feel sort of sick.

My dog has one of those dog dishes that has a food storage container on the bottom. You lift the lid that holds the water and food dish and the area underneath holds dog food for about 20-30 servings of dog food.

So I lift the lid and refil the storage area with his mega-huge bag o' dog food. This restocking empties the bag and I go to throw it away. When I return, Frodo is standing at the bin revealing 20-30 servings of dog food in front of him. Instead of looking like a dog who just woke up in Dog Food Heaven, he looked at me kinda sad like he was going to say, "You want me to eat all of this? Okay, brother, it's my funeral." And he started to eat it slowly like someone was forcing him to. It was funny watching him push his nose into the huge mound of food.
It was hysterical.
Dogs have such expressive eyes.

I met with a new client today who has 2 dogs. One of the dogs seems to be part Akita and part Bull Mastif. He is the BIGGEST dog I have EVER seen in my life. His head is even with my head when I am standing on my knees.

Big doggie!

I love soda. Diet Pepsi, Diet Coke, Diet Dr. Pepper... I try to drink just one a day. :)

This was one of the best days ever. I'm enjoying this week of no obligation. Today I went to the mall for some retail therapy. Two pair of shoes, one purse, two necklaces, three shirts, one pomegranate lemondar, and a free Ben Bridge Festival of Gems stone later and I was soaring on a shopping high. Then I indulged my home improvement bug by slapping a coat of paint onto the powder room ceiling. And since I'm not in a super hurry, I can use a brush like I prefer, not a roller.

New toys, healthy bit of exertion, and stack of rented DVDs still to watch. Does it get better?

I must have this, I've decided.

I shall save up for it.

Maybe it's late and I'm a bit punchy, but I'm teary I'm laughing so much at this. I can totally picture that dog's expression.

Such intelligent creatures, and yet, sometimes so odd.

Is the top of that dog dish thing hinged? I see those and imagine water sloshing everywhere when you need to feed the dog.

There is a very very very very very very very very very very very *inhale* very very very very very very very very scary show on teevee about being a super hero.

I will, of course, attempt to catch the next episode.
