See, but it's lamb you're talking about, so I am more grossed out than impressed. That stuff is nasty!!!! Still, considering all the times Albertsons has ripped me off with bad meat, I'm glad to see a customer enjoy a great deal!

Lamb is fantastic! mmmmm

Mmmmm! I'm having the combo plate from my favorite local joint - lamb, beef, and chicken all cooked up in spices served over saffron rice with a side of the only hummus I like. Lamb is yummy!

Dinner was a mushroom and tofu stir-fry.

Sauce was made of Ponzu, soy sauce, minced garlic and sesme paste.
Diced tofu and let it maranade for about an hour
Put some peanut oil in the pan for more flavor
Stir-fried tofu for about 15 minutes, until hot
Added mushrooms (fresh Sh*take, oyster, enokitake, and buma shajaki) and a can of straw mushrooms
Added a little more marinade and covered tightly
Let steam for about 15 minutes.

It was amazing.

Oh, I love those kind of sales! Did it taste better when it cost almost free??;)

About 3 years ago I went in for some film at Albertsons. They had a 6 roll box on sale. I paid for it, and a few other things. It didn't ring up at the sale price, so I got it for free. We had friends visiting from England and we were doing all the parks from San Diego to Hollywood, so a few days later I went back for some more of the film still on sale. And guess what? Yup, more free film, they still didn't change it. Went back the next day, and guess what? Yup again, still more free film. Each of the three times I told them someone should fix it. I went back one more time out of morbid curiosity, and this time they had fixed it so I paid the sale price. It was the last day of the sale. But heck, I had enough film for the rest of the year. In fact, I haven't bought film since, I have gone completely digital now.

And Marla, that sounds great! Can you bring some to the next potluck? :)

I have a massive amout of dust up my nose. It amazes me how much dust collects on a knick-knack.

Only if you want Munchkyn to live the rest of her life in fear of you eating her too.

And my post about poor baby sheep was in no way related to the fact that GD and CP were having lamb. Animals being hurt/killed in movies really bothers me (and yes, I know it's not real).
