I'm flirting with danger as I browse the board with my manager's manager sitting right next to me. :D He's wrapped up in what he's doing, my job is to sit here and stare at this monitor anyway, so he has no idea. Plus he's a laid back guy who really wouldn't care too much. But still...

Today I had not only one of our tech support guys, but also one of my higher ups sat at my computer to do some stuff, and I had not only LoT open, but also the bubble popping site.... I love my level of apathy this time of year. :D

I'm currently sipping a trim latte and flicking through the new Naked Chef recipe book I just bought:cool:

Y'ever have one of those days when you're convinced that humanity is essentially evil? That every single person around you would, given the opportunity, gladly stab you in the back and trample your still-warm corpse underfoot if it meant they'd progress even a millimeter up the socio-economic ladder? That life is nasty, brutish, and short and nothing more? That life is one big Sisyphean struggle with any progress promptly stomped down -- even punished?

Some days I just want to live in a self-sustaining bunker in the wilderness.

I hate Mondays, too.

It's Tuesday, though- isn't it? Lol.

I'm the only one awake in my house...which is weird for this time of night.
The kids acutally went to bed on time tonight with no hassle..and hubby has to be in Phoenix early tomorrow so he went to bed early. I'm not sure what I'm doing up...

Hit away. We are at your disposal.

(Keeping messages short tonight. I have a dragon asleep on one hand, so I can only type with one hand.)

Babe, you have got to get some art! Watch a really high quality film, read an enthralling novel, listen to music that moves you, or just look at paintings that impress you. I love good architecture too - if there isn't any in the area, get architecture books from the library's oversize section and plop them on your coffee table for a while. Or even better, get historical art/writings/music/architecture. Experiencing something beautiful that was created hundreds of years ago will teach you that life may be short, but it is also filled with joy and light and intelligence and wonder. :)
