Pity it didn't split down the frontside

I just gotta say that Berens' has a nice booty.

It's a heavy-on-the-mosquito-spray day. It's a perfect-canoeing-weather day.

Later, LoTers! The river calls but the song of the mosquito shall not ring in my ears.

Though the EXTREME CLOSE UP SHOTS of just his bum are a little odd.

Tru Blood For Sale

If you've longed to taste the vamp beverage on HBO's True Blood, you'll soon have a chance. Well, okay, not really, but they are going to be marketing a blood-orange flavored soda as Tru Blood so you can sort of look like you're drinking it. It's gonna run 16 bucks for a four-pack, so I don't think it'll be a best-seller, but it might be a nice novelty item.

I have a feeling that my Dad is going to buy that. He loves True Blood. I can't wait to see it when I'm older, just to see what's so good about it.

I love the TV show. I'm a total fan of the books. Will I pay $16 for 4 sodas? Not a chance. Put some alcohol in them and I probably would try them out though.

And now - here's a joke for you all:

The vet goes into the back room and comes out with a cat. The cat sniffs the body and meows. The vet says, "I'm sorry, but the cat thinks that your dog is dead, too."

The man is still unwilling to accept that his dog is dead.

The vet brings in a black Labrador. The lab sniffs the body and barks. The vet says, "I'm sorry, but the lab thinks your dog is dead, too."

The man finally resigns to the diagnosis and asks how much he owes. The vet answers, "$650."

"$650 to tell me my dog is dead?" exclaims the man.

"Well," the vet replies, "I would only have charged you $50 for my initial diagnosis. The additional $600 is for the cat scan and lab tests."

Bada Bum!

I love True Blood so much I will buy some Tru Blood. It will stay in my microwave for about as long as that Duff Beer sat in my fridge (about a year).

The episode before last was so unbelieveably stupid, I almost lost faith. But last Sunday's was redemption.

Watching Twilight for the first (and last ever) time last weekend made me appreciate True Blood all the more. What a bunch of mopey tween, um-NOTvampire vampire bullcrappy!

I kinda want to go to that Vampire-Con, but it will be full of Twilighters, and I think the war between TrueBloodists and Twilighters will be more gruesome and brutal than that between vampires and werewolves.

Eric... mmmm.... Eric. Can't wait for this to get to book 3.
