Is it just me or is it weird that the crew who is currently setting up to replace the floor tiles in our huge computer lab are busy dragging ladders around? They know where the floor is, right?

When our kittens were more little, Mabel frequently would curl up in a cup of one of LSPE's bras and go to sleep (when it was not being worn). She's a little too big to do that now, but she still adores LSPE's bras.

I found this little guy outside my front door today. Anyone know what type of snake this is?

Spoilered just in case anyone has a snake phobia.

That would be me. Snakes, spiders and clowns.

Why does this sound like a photoshop challenge? (Don't worry, BTD, I meant in general)

I've got an online friend who is a big snake fan - I'll bet he'll know. Stand by for ID. :D

My extremely amateur attempt at identification would be northern brown snake.

He says: It's a Coast Gartersnake, one of the most (if not THE most) variably colored snakes in the world. This one is really unique. Don't see many with the all-over red retaining such clear black spots along the yellow garter line, but without much but a hint of the lateral spots. Cool

Huh. So would it have collector value or can I go ahead with my original plan (now that I'm sure it's non-poisonous) and let Jack "play" with it?
