Twitter is suffering from Denial of Service attacks. So everyone is flooding Facebook and slowing it down.

THE INTERNETS ARE BROKE!!!!

I think I might go outside for a stroll. There's this bright yellow shiny thing up there and I want to figure out what it is. :p

YAY Matt!!!

Petunia will be so happy to be out of that nasty shelter and in a home with love. On Sunday, she'll go to her permanent foster home where she can settle in and be loved forever.

Schadenfreude. We just wanted to see you suffer.

So I had 94K frequent flyer miles set to expire next month and I thought I was going to have to convert them into $4,700 in restaurant.com dining certificates but redeeming the first $100 worth reset the the expiration date on my miles to 2011.

Um.... you can go to Europe on 40K miles...

We were at Borders last night getting some summer reading. At checkout the checker mentions that we have two weeks to return the books if needed.

Moonie Junior thinks for a bit then says: "It would be cool if there was a service like Netflix only for books".

I know you mean libraries. But there are several Netflix for books.

BookSwim
BooksFree
BookSpine

I have a friend who is a member of one of them (can't remember which) and likes it quite a bit. Not because she doesn't realize libraries exist but because of the Netflix-like queue, never having to wait months for a current bestseller to be available while waiting through a 200 person hold backlog, and having to schedule trips to the library in the relatively small windows when they're open and she's not at work.

They found out today that Billy Mays was on cocaine. Are we surprised?

Are they sure it wasn't just OxyClean?

Huh... a certain old-fashioned ice cream parlor soon to open up in Mission Viejo that I sent a resume to actually wants to phone interview me!
