I would rather have self cleaning rat cages.

BarTopDancer 08-24-2006 05:18 PM

I would rather have people who pay attention in training.

blueerica 08-24-2006 06:03 PM

I'd rather have some food right now.

Gemini Cricket 08-24-2006 06:19 PM

Start new job tomorrow.
Kinda nervous right now.
Will I sleep tonight?

Kevy Baby 08-24-2006 08:46 PM

There is a tiny spider crawling across my screen.

So, the bathroom outlets are non-functional. There's no test-reset in that bathroom, so I think they're connected to the powder room which is directly underneath. Only that outlet's test-reset buttons aren't popping up, which either means there's something wrong with the buttons or something actually wrong with the outlet. Grrrr.

Or the breaker is blown. Be sure to get it looked at right away, a short could cause a fire!

Oh, and I'd rather be fishing.........

Reset *all* the GFCI outlets in the house (and check the breakers as RStar suggests), it's hard to tell what is connected to what. They spread the outlets out on different circuits to distribute the load, so no one circuit draws too much current.

I can feel the tips of my toes swirling to the sounds of this music...

Sit N Spin + Bacardi Silver + A Whole Lotta Buncha MP3s = groovy evening :D

Oh, we did that. It's the outlet. It was working before I started painting that bathroom, and at some point the reset button popped off entirely. And now it clearly has issues. *sigh* This means Yet Another phone call to daddy and the tough choice: pay big bucks for the professional (that may or may not be any good), or pay big sanity points for listening to my dad while he first criticizes everything about my life, then investigates all the wiring not related to that outlet, before hours later finally taking care of that outlet - after he first experiments with something he read about.

Seriously, everyone who thinks I'm a royal PITA should meet my dad. You'll realize how miraculous it is that I'm not worse.
