You should have warned the pit bull: "Eating Kimchi gives you gas."
Which it does. Well, I'm glad Kimchi is ok. I haven't really warmed up to her yet, I'm more in the pro-Thurston camp, but since she's such a lucky pup I should give her more love. |
Poor pup. (they can be so smart and then the next minute so darn dumb)
So - this cabin in Joshua tree of which you speak... is it in the park? near it? inquiring minds need to know! |

Took Kimchi to the vet this morning and she has to stay there till evening as they clean and drain her wound. I know she'll be okay, but have been worried sick about her all day. I just want her home again.

Does your vet sell stock? I want to invest.
|
Poor little pug girl! I'm sure she'll be home soon.

Our Little Nancy (as in Sid and Nancy) is home and is doing ok. They had to put her under today to cauterize abscesses and insert drains. Pugs and anesthesia is not always a good combination, but she did ok. She's not sitting next to us and moaning. She's on pain meds but they apparently aren't doing the trick. For such a feisty badass, she doesn't do well with pain.
To answer Betty's question...... The cabin is in the town on Joshua Tree. It is actually between Joshua Tree and 29 Palms both of which have entrances into the park. It is a small block cabin - probably built in the 50's. It was super cute but SUPER cold the first night. I would only rent it when it is NOT 30 degrees at night or 90 degrees during the day. Here's a link: |
Who's Nancy? I thought Kimchi was the victum....???
|
Kimchi was out picking fights and being a bit of a trouble maker. Thus, she is Nancy of Sid and Nancy.
