As much as I insisted having having a real tree, I got such a great deal on a very nice fake one two years ago. It was less than the cost of the real one, and so much easier to put up. And came pre-strung with LED lights.

And, from what I hear from locals, there was a set of power lines 2 blocks later that he also would never have made it under. Parade-Planners FAIL. Kiddy nightmares on their hands.
