I'm no expert, but I'm pretty sure it wasn't a back loader—it just doesn't produce the same results.

You can't get the paper to come out using the back loader; you need to use the front loader for that. There are some who prefer models that only have back loaders (with input devices installed in place of the front loaders), but they generally don't mind that they won't be getting any paper for their efforts.
