Thanks for my awesome birthday wishes, everybody!
I had a great birthday weekend.
I was grousing about me turning 40 and then a tsunami hit and made me say to myself, 'Shut the f*ck up. Things could be worse.' Thank you for the lesson, universe.
I'm handling 40 rather well. I've already used the phrase, 'Uh, I'm forty now, I don't have to put up with that crap any more' already.
