Thank who Day ? ;)

I vividly recall 'a few' years back (1995) where there were no decorations before Thanksgiving, but pretty stuff up on Turkey Day. Don't remember that fact back to other Thanksgiving week trips (78 and 77), though.

I thought they started Christmas on Thanksgiving weekend.

It's only a matter of time until this holiday takes up the entire calendar. :p

Christmas only exists after Thanksgiving. My mind refuses to accept anything Christmas before the Friday following the fourth Thursday in November.

Hey, those are Thanksgiving decorations. They just leave them up through December so we can enjoy them longer.

Veterans Day at Disneyland was crazy busy!! I was glad we had been there early in the week so we could ride all the rides. The line for Small World had to have been 1,000's of people long, we decided to skip that one.

Lisa, I'm so glad I spotted you and Chris! It was great to meet you Gn2Dllnd, it's nice to put a face to a name. I was scanning crowds all week for familiar faces and had given up, didn't think anyone else would be in the crush. Then my son drags me through Star Traders so he could buy a shirt to get a virtual shirt for VMK before we go home and I almost literally run into Chris as Zach darts through the crowds:) It's always wonderful to see you guys!

We finished all but the Adventureland quest for VMK. Getting on Indiana was impossible that day and we were missing a few answers. We even went back to hotel for a break and wrote out the Tomorrow land one from the internet, as we had no printer in our room and Zach really wanted that one. My husband had one answer wrong but she gave us the card anyway, i was so glad!

It was a great way for an 8 year old boy who hates long lines to spend the last day in the park. Plus now we are home and he still has to finish entering his secret codes for his prizes and the excitement is still flowing!!

There is nothing better than spending wonderful days in the park with my boy. He even showed off his disney geek side with my family by sharing all his Disney knowledge and Hidden Mickeys tales. They were very impressed by his wealth of knowledge about something other than video games!

Sorry I rambled so long:blush:
I think I'll avoid the park on Veterans Day from here on out.
