I'm not paying for answers. Fvck that. It'll all get discussed eventually anyway.

We should all get together at a designated restaurant after the event and before the awards ceremony.

Ok, cool, I was confused. :)

I'd see both. Besides, "we" don't have the guy that started it all - MiceChat does. Hell, the guy that started it all isn't on this coast anymore and hates APers. I'd most probably go to a MiceAge event, but I wouldn't stop going to MA for that, that's for sure.

Have you guys competed before? I'm don't recognize your screenname, but I probably know you, right? :D

In any case I'm sure you'll have a blast at the Open. I'd love a report on that event.

Um, yeah...and where is iSm a moderator? He's talking about a MA/MC event, not a LoT event.

Ok, cool. His use of "we" confused me. I'll save the Kevin Yee conversation for a future thread. ;)

Hi, I hope it's okay if I answer some of these questions. Don't want to be a total buttinsky...

Anywho, the $28.99 is what Disney is charging MP. We definitely turned a whiter shade of pale when we saw the price, but it sure as heck beats listening to Alex yelling over a loudspeaker in the picnic area and everybody going "what, what?" And, although it was totally entertaining having Disney security glowering at us last time (hehe), we thought we'd try something new. ;) We priced every single venue in the Disneyland area and this was really the best deal by far for the amenities provided.

Corwin is a longtime Disney fan/trivia master-type guy. He's new to MP but definitely an old-timer....

I can't speak about the answers to the quests (don't have enough info on the details), but I'd be happy to see what I can find out.

So, I'd be fine chatting about this further via PM if anybody wants, but don't want to stifle any discussion here. Not what I'm here for.

The invitational event is really rockin'. And evil....

BarTopDancer 01-31-2005 12:19 PM

Thank you Shelia!!!!! We always like answers to questions...

and in the spirit of giving us answers please PM me all the answers for this years MA ;)

Do you know what kind of grub will be at the BBQ? I will miss the WHAT WHAT yelling. Oh well, I'll just be able to hear him now. :D

Thanks so much for the help! No need to feel like you're "butting in", you're a poster here too. :)

Cadaverous Pallor 01-31-2005 12:57 PM

Sheila - so it's that much per person, but the use of the area is free after that? Do they need a minimum of people to buy in? I'm wondering about the technical side of all this now.

Oh, and as always, if you can't answer stuff, don't. :)
