I just got our tickets - two musical days in the desert woohoo!

I wanna go! Coldplay gets me hot! ;)

I'd give anything to see New Order!! How fun!! And Jem (saw her last March for $10! :D), Keane, Killers. Damn! I love music festivals sooo much!

Ordered our tickets, got the electronic delivery. So we just need to print 'em out. woot.

I'm not going to Coachella, but I'm going to see Queensryche, with backstage passes and everything...

I got my tickets ljust for the Saturday. I can't wait for Coldplay. I want to see Weezer, Rilo Kiley and Snow Patrol.

My sister just turned me on to Cafe Tacuba, definitely looking forward to that (same vein as Kinky or Ozamatle). I'd like to catch Jem, Stereophonics, Bauhaus, Chemical Bros, maybe Cold Play, definitely NiN. I know there were others, but I've listened to so many samples I can't remember what's what any more. I'm going to have to do more research and write things down.

Wow, Claire! You have all the luck! How do you get to meet so many of these bands? Whenever bigger bands play down here, there's no going near them! :(


I'd love to go to Coachella, but those crowds...and if it's in the heat. Yeah, forget it.

We knew the bartender at the Ballroom....he used to date a friend of my sister's fiance and he always says hi and gives a break on beer during shows, and he told us the band planned to come back out to the bar after the show to taste some of the brews (it's a McMenamins and they make tasty stuff), and that we could hang around if we wanted. There were only two performers and several roadies. The roadies were funnier, but the singer and the drummer were cute. Of course, I got on better with the roadies. Keane never showed up.....which was kinda sad....would have liked to say hi to them.

It's all luck.....now if only it would happen at Duran Duran, life would be complete. Full circle. ;)

Hope you all have a wonderful time. Unfortunately, my festival days are pretty much over. I just don't handle the prolonged exposure to the sun too well. Wish we could join you though.
