What the hell?! I just don't know what to say. Is there a chance there's some lowlife with a grudge against her specifically?

katiesue 03-26-2006 03:52 PM

So sorry to hear they were back. This must be just horrible for her, and all of you.

Betty 03-27-2006 06:26 AM

There's no one any of us can think of that might be out to get her - it would be easier, somehow, if there were some reason behind this. Instead, there's a random sense of it could happen to anyone at any time and that's makes me feel uncomfortable. It's also difficult to explain to our children why someone would do this - and at the same time assure them that it won't happen to them.

Bad people suck.

Good news! They found her car. A tow yard in Beaumont was called to tow it in as an abandoned vehicle. They said it was in pretty good condition - although I'm not sure exactly what that means.

Seems to make sense that this was the work of kids. Unless what the tow place said was totally off-base, it wasn't used for parts or driven to Mexico or anything.

I wonder if there will be any fingerprints in it? And if so, how that works with someone having towed it. I wonder if the dipsh!t(s) who stole it wore gloves while they were in it.

I would just love love love for them to get what's coming to them!

Ooooh, please say that they were stupid enough to leave prints. Then tell me the young punks are old enough to be tried and convicted as adults. The fvckwads deserve to be butt-raped in prision on a daily basis for the next 12 years.

So - the full story. The car was involved in a high speed chase off the 60 freeway. It ended up in a ditch and is currently at a mechanic being checked out. I was told that damage was minimal - but that was before a mech. had looked so who knows.

They have the guy who was driving! :)

Whether or not he is the guy who broke in - and whether he was alone in that- I have no idea.

But they've got someone and that's a good start in the right direction!

Check this out. In the last year...

My van was vandalised - not once but twice. Kids (?) kicked in the side panel and then came back and walked from front to back over the top of it leaving show prints both times.

Trash can stolen (or randomly missing?)

Grandmas's house broken into.

Grandma's car stolen

Next door neighbor's house attempted breaking into (this was days after my Grandma)- she saw a guy at her back french doors trying to open them - called the police etc!!!

We lock up the house to a greater extent then ever.

Dang!! The worst we have had is the guys who got into our garage...they used the door opener from David's car and opened the door. Something woke me up (neighbor says he heard Pooh barking). I went out to have me am ciggie and turned all the lights on, which scared them off before they could get anything. The cops think it was teens, since they were mainly targetting bikes.

That's good news Betty! I hope that this ends well.

I left out that during this time, my husband also cut off his fingertips while brewing (the glass carboy shattered) and had a run-in with a driver on the wrong side of the street new years morning which totaled the Focus.

Enough already.

tracilicious 04-09-2006 11:39 AM

Yipes! Did they sew his fingertips back on?

Glad to hear they have someone!
