But was anybody decapitated?

Promo-Man 05-10-2006 09:48 AM

Glad that you are ok.
I am not much of a drinker anymore but I will drink a toast to the good life!

I'm thinking there was no one in the passenger seat. If there was... ugh.

I was thinking about those commercials you like so much where the subjects of the commercial get into unexpected accidents. There's a newer one that just came out. I agree with you that they're very effective...

And, more importantly, was their head found over by a snowcone concession?

Glad you're ok. I've always wondered why those 45 seconds waiting for the train to pass are so crucial that people will literally risk their lives for them. Other than of course, the aforementioned "people are stupid". The trains carrying people are short, not much of a wait at all. I've waited longer at stop lights.

and a few days later, did you get a pamphlet from Pueblo, Colorado entitled "Do you know what the queers are doing to our soil?"

 Well, glad you are ok, Euro! At least you have an interesting tale to tell for those dull conversation moments.

I have quite a few near misses from various modes of transportation, like the time I was almost clocked by the basket of a runaway hot air balloon. Or the time I just missed deleting a pedestrian that thought she could dash across a five lane intersection after the don't walk sign was five seconds old and traffic was just starting to move. I could also go on and on about the near deaths I've avoided, but I digress...

The important thing is that you are well, and no one was seriously injured. Just chalk it up to a fool losing their toy for not playing by the rules of the road!
