DreadPirateRoberts~ I love it! So true. I always respond, when asked why I didn't do this or that, Did you notice all of the things I did do???

Dogs. I have to agree, dogs are a big handful. I am having issues with mine today. He thinks he is in charge. {well, he is a gigantic Shepherd, maybe he is?} Then the cat is in attack mode. Her pupils are huge and she is getting anything that moves.

So. Yes, a day home isn't really relaxing. Regardless of what anyone says. When I was working full time[part time] my days off would be laundry and cleaning. What the heck type of day off is that??? The Hubster didn't want me to change my schedule but I gave him this little birdie on my hand and did it anyways. {I do love him but when the bird must be given...}

Now diva. Hmm. Luckily I don't have one of those to deal with. Sarcastic teens, curmudgeon preteens, yes.

I shouldn't have read this thread. I feel a major burn-out coming on, and I also feel powerless to stop it. Nothing about the situation has changed except for my reaction to it. But burn-out is coming, and coming soon.

My heart goes out to all of you who are burning out, about to burn out, afraid of burning out or due to burn out. May something refreshing and renewing come into your life not a moment too soon.

Let's see - Between work, school, law review work - and about to add moot court stuff - yeah, I'm pretty well burned out. And yet, I keep going. And adding more to my plate.
