 She brought me a huge bouquet of flowers today. I'm eating crow...a little. But just because she does one nice thing (one extremely over-the-top nice thing) doesn't excuse how she's been treating people. I'm just the one who spoke up.

Made oooooodles of calls today. Progress is happening.

Realistic to-do list (in other words, things I might actually get done because I am a lazy slob):

Up my posting on the LoT. I'm shamefully low.

Sign up for a session at www.dreamdinners.com. I'm thrilled for this! I can make a month's worth of scrummy dinners in two hours! Woo-hoo! No more eating cheese on bread because I'm too lazy to cook!

Play Mario Party. I'm trying really hard to collect enough coins to unlock a secret map.

Clean the carpets. This has to get done because they look yucky and the ultrasound people are coming to my house (It's an ultrasound service primarily for people having homebirths.)

What I should be doing:

Cleaning the carpets.

Sorting laundry.

Cleaning the whole house.

Harrassing Michael to do his list.

Playing Mario Party ( I really wan that map!)

Vowing never to make another to do list.

Tips on how to get through your to do list from an astonished procrastinator:

Start with projects and deadlines that will fill up every day for the next two months.

Get call from physical therapist that you've got six more weeks of physical therapy approved. Subtract six hours a week from available work time.

Panic.

Then actually get things done. It's amazing what I'll do to avoid working on Saturdays. :D

(I keep a written to do list because I can't remember anything. Once in a while I do something that I would have written down but didn't. So I write it down just for the satisfaction of checking it off. )

Dear fellow to-do lists,

BTD paid attention to me this weekend! I know I shouldn't get used to the attention, or get my hopes up that she will continue with this but for this weekend I felt loved again. She folded laundry and washed/dried more, got ahead in school, prepared some meals to be frozen, balanced her checkbook, finished her taxes, changed her sheets and got some errands done. I think she's off to fold some more laundry or something now.

Signed,
A loved but cautious to-do list.

Living room and kitchen mostly clean (floors need to be done).

There's been progress. More socializing, book buying and having fun than progress, but still...some progress.

Wendy here.

My list has gone missing. I suspect it may be at the bottom of my purse, which, ironically, was #4 on the list of things to clean out.

I may just have to come up with a new one, because there is no way I'm going in after it! In the meanwhile, I'm gonna just hang out and not do a damn thing.

Oh crap. My to do list. It's incredibly long this week. Everything on it is both urgent and important. Honestly, I'm not sure there are enough waking hours for me to do everything I need to do this week. Crap. Curse my procrastinating ways!

Traci's list reminded me of my auction to-do list because Dream Dinners has donated two things to our auction. A $100 certificate and a half-off party for 12. So twelve people can get together, make their dinners together, they provide goodies and drinks, and we get it all for half-off! I'm loving that! We already have a few of us who are going to go in together to buy the dinner-making party.

I'm getting nada done today. But that's all right by me. ;)

Can't agree more, my man. :)

Ok, so for today, between jobs:

hand wash clothes
put away clean dishes
tidy newspapers
perhaps buy food

Lunch first, of course.
