All of that should be illegal. We pay for the DVDs, we shouldn't have to pay to watch commercials or what THEY want us to watch. The movies aren't cheap.

Goes for the theater as well. I rush to get there {yeah, my problem but I do} and then it is SIT for 1-15 minutes. While I am sometimes late I would arrive quietly. I hate people who come in late and it is all about them.

And, it sucks to have to buy the international set.

Me, too!!!
"Is this seat taken, is this seat taken?" Shut up and get the frick out. You and your girlfriend show up for opening night of "The Departed" five minutes before showtime. You're dumb.

The AMC theatres in Boston show commercials, but they show it prior to showtime. Which is okay, I guess. There are usually 15 minutes of previews, but at least I don't have to sit through that Fanta commercial after showtime...

Exactly! But that scenario is nothing compared to a family coming in and all talking and running about looking for a seat and if they choose to sit by me, walking past me instead of entering the row from the {empty} other side!!!!

And, if they post the movie times correctly here I haven't noticed. I always get stuck watching a bunch of stuff. I never know if the family has tricked me to be on time or what....

They already exist. Use the one in your computer, for the most part they ignore menu locks that prevent skipping.

But watching a movie on the computer is not nearly as nice as on television.
Fortunately on many of the DVDs you can hit the menu button to pass them by. I just resent having to do that and I resent not having the root menu show up first. If I want to watch the trailers, I will do so, just like selecting the bonus features.

I like the movie trailers. And I like the whatever pre-show at the theatres. I usually go by myself to the movies a lot so it gives me something to watch while I wait, instead of sitting there like a dork.

I take a book (about 70% of the movies I see in theaters, I see alone).
