Thanks for all the good luck wishes. You guys are mojorific! :)

To be honest, I've been having a hard time. I'm scared, excited, worried, terrified and happy all at the same time.

It's an important step for me, but I'm totally scared, too.

I'm a nest-er. I like to stick to one place and stay there. So the more I move around, the more scattered I get. And we've/I've been moving around a lot in my life.

What it looks like now is that I will be staying with a close friend for free for awhile. I'll be on his couch until I get on my feet. It seems to be the only way. But I will get on my feet... at least I keep hearing myself say that...

I've got my resume ready and set to send out, but there's a car to worry about (which I didn't need to do here in Boston... it's a walking city) and bills and a dog to leave behind. There's also our Ralphie that I'm leaving in Boston. That's become the hardest part.

I'm feeling so panicked (sp?) out, y'all. Any advice?
:(

Don't forget to breathe :)

Cadaverous Pallor 09-27-2006 03:55 PM

My advice is whatever you have to do, take a deep breath (like Matt says) and jump. Barge in on whatever needs taking care of and kick its ass. Aggression leaves no time for worry and stress. I try to emulate that, because as soon as I stop moving, I start thinking too much about it and it freaks me out.

It's working on the current craziness in my life :)

Make a list of stuff you need to do, then start doing it. As CP said jump right in and you won't have time to panic.

On the other hand, the sooner you start procrastinating the more time you will have to get caught up.

lashbear 09-27-2006 07:45 PM

Carpe Diem !!

(I think that means, Die, Carp! ) :p

lashbear 09-27-2006 07:46 PM

Oh, and if you don't sieze the day, then wait till I get to LA and we'll see what we can sieze....

...god, I'm trashy...
